996 manual gearbox upgrades explored!
Lee's on a mission to improve the shift quality in his 1998 manual Porsche 911 Carrera. Will an upgrade to some aftermarket shift cables deliver intended results?
After driving lots of other cars of late, it was time to give my own Porsche 996.1 Carrera aka 'Little Irish' some TLC, so I headed off to Wrightune Porsche specialists with a big list of mods and maintenance.
Of the 'fun stuff', I most wanted to upgrade the shift quality on my manual Porsche 911, so I installed a set of aftermarket shift cables to see if they can do the trick.
