Fried Eggs & Friends report & pictures

9WERKS' inaugural event saw 87 cars gather at Porsche Centre Bournemouth's stunning new premises. Can you spot your Porsche in our pictures?

More than 150 passionate enthusiasts descended on the stunning new facilities of Porsche Centre Bournemouth for 9WERKS inaugural cars & coffee on Sunday, 24th October.

Nearly 100 Porsche sports cars, both old and new, filled the two-acre site, as Porsche Bournemouth threw open its doors for the first time and invited 9WERKS Members into its world-class home.

Inside the Centre’s main showroom, modern machinery made way for a special ‘Classic Legends’ display, with an array of cars provided by 9WERKS Members to showcase the evolution of Porsche sports cars. Enthusiasts were given an access-all-areas look around the multi-million-pound new premises situated on England’s south coast, which has become only the fifth OPC in the UK to be granted Porsche Classic Partner status. The dealership itself celebrates its 45th birthday next year.

Building on the popular ‘Fried Eggs’ cars and coffee dedicated to iterations of Porsche 996, ‘Fried Eggs & Friends’ opened the occasion up to all Porsche models, including air- and water-cooled 911s, Caymans, Boxsters and transaxle cars all commonly found within the enthusiast sphere. Tickets for the event sold out within 24 hours and enthusiasts were commended for their commitment to following additional COVID-19 measures prior to and on the day of the event to ensure the safety of all in attendance.

Fried Eggs & Friends at Porsche Bournemouth was supported by Porsche Classic, which offered a complimentary PCCM+ infotainment unit to ‘Fried Eggs Friend of the Day’. Nick Smith was the lucky winner – Nick was one of many who travelled a considerable distance to be at the event, harnessing the community spirit which 9WERKS holds at its core. PCCM+ will be fitted to his Guards red 996 C4S (below).

9WERKS would like to put on record its sincere thanks to all the staff at Porsche Centre Bournemouth for their enthusiasm and hospitality, which included complimentary coffee & croissants for every attendee.

Most importantly, a huge thanks to the Porsche enthusiast fraternity for supporting 9WERKS’ first event. See your Porsche in our pictures (supplied by Blades Media & Max Neman) below? Feel free to save and share!
