GALLERY: 9WERKS 2024 Wales road trip

Highlights of our first big driving weekend of the year, with plenty of Porsche variety enjoying the curves of Cymru

Here at 9WERKS, we like to adhere to our oft-articulated mantra of ‘Driven Not Hidden’, which is why throughout the year we offer a range of memorable road trips especially for members of the Driven Not Hidden Collective
And, in what is fast becoming a tradition, our UK driving season is kicked off in style with our annual 9WERKS Wales road trip. That’s why April saw a group of enthusiasts from the 9WERKS DNHC descend on Wales’ twisting tarmac for a weekend of driving on awesome roads among great scenery, all while forging new memories and friendships.
The route, specially crafted to incorporate some of the roads used by Total 911 magazine and other British media outlets to test Porsche sports cars over the years, ensured a spirited workout for the cars involved, on all manner of asphalt.
With plenty of stop-offs along the way offering stunning vistas, the four-day getaway also accommodated for plenty of socialising time, as DNHCers got to know one another and share a memorable weekend on fine roads with like-minded people.
As you can see from our gallery, the trip welcomed a wide variety of Porsche sports cars – exactly what we like to see – the earliest example being a recently-restored 1976 911 2.7, book-ended by a PTS Riviera blue (no, it’s not Shark!) 992 GT3, with lots of mid and rear-engined Stuttgart metal in between.
A sincere thanks to all who participated in, and contributed to, four days of flat-engined fun. If you didn’t make the trip this time, please enjoy our highlights gallery showcasing some of the action.
