Three years on… is my respray still in good condition?
After 30,000 hard miles, how has my Irish green respray fared? I gave the car to the experts at Shorade UK for a close-up examination, featuring plenty of paintwork FAQs
It's been three years now since my Porsche 996.1 Carrera was resprayed in its stunning Irish green hue, after the original colour, Zenith blue, all peeled away when the shoddy wrap applied by the previous owner was removed.
So how has my new paint fared in three years and 30,000 miles? I took the car to Shorade Accident Repair to be inspected by CEO Steve Shore, who also answered a series of paintwork and paint protection FAQs while appraising if the paint on my Porsche is any good or not!
