Porsche Club GB is delighted to be returning to Hedingham Castle in Essex this September for what promises to be one of the largest gatherings of people and Porsches in their 2024 calendar. This year’s Classics at the Castle takes the highly regarded event from its early air-cooled origins into the wider Porsche community by embracing all Porsche air-cooled classics, from the very first to roll off the production line in 1948 to the end of 993 production in 1998. That isn’t the only exciting development for this year’s Classics at the Castle, which is set to play host to one of the UK’s most impressive celebrations of the legendary air-cooled Porsche Turbo which turns 50 this year. All air-cooled Turbos will be featured in prominent parking areas in the heart of the event., with additional displays for water-cooled models. Also celebrating a milestone anniversary this year with a dedicated display area is the 911 GT3. This pillar of Porsche performance first appeared in showrooms 25 years ago, and while these might not be air-cooled cars, a silver jubilee display of all GT3s will be awaiting all visitors. All Porsches are welcome at Classics at the Castle, with the Deer Park ready and waiting to be filled with a huge mix of water-cooled, transaxle, electric and SUV Porsches.
