    About the seller

    Philip Raby began his Porsche journey in magazine publishing. He was involved with the early days of 911 & Porsche World, before going on to launch and edit Total 911, the World’s only magazine dedicated solely to the iconic Porsche 911. He has written several books on Porsche and has been a regular contributor to GT Porsche magazine. Philip Raby Specialist Cars was a natural progression of his passion.

    Ollie Barclay joined the team in 2020 as Service Director. He has been a Porsche specialist technician since leaving college and has worked on a vast array of Porsches, from the earliest air cooled 911s, to the latest production model Macans and everything in-between. Ollie keeps things moving in our service centre and looks after the team, ensuring a cheerful and efficient workplace.

    This 2003 Porsche 996 Carrera 4S Tiptronic has had just four owners from new, the last one had it since 2013 and cherished it in every way. The Porsche is finished in Seal Grey Metallic with 18-inch Turbo wheels.

    The interior features full Graphite Grey leather and striking yellow seatbelts (which were specified from new). The Porsche features a high specification, including fully electric seats with driver’s memory, heated seats, Seal Grey centre console, alloy gear selector and handbrake lever, Alcantara heading, and PCM2 (Porsche Communication Management). Exterior options include rear Park Assist, rear wiper, and a switchable Sports exhaust.

    The Porsche benefits from an extremely well-documented service history showing how well it has been maintained. Of particular note is an engine rebuild by well-known Porsche specialist JZM in 2014 at 91,000 miles – just 31,000 miles ago, and it has been regularly serviced since, all recorded with invoices and stamps in two service books. The last service was in July 2024 at 123,307 miles. It really is one of the best-maintained 996s we have seen.
