    About the seller

    Philip Raby began his Porsche journey in magazine publishing. He was involved with the early days of 911 & Porsche World, before going on to launch and edit Total 911, the World’s only magazine dedicated solely to the iconic Porsche 911. He has written several books on Porsche and has been a regular contributor to GT Porsche magazine. Philip Raby Specialist Cars was a natural progression of his passion.

    Ollie Barclay joined the team in 2020 as Service Director. He has been a Porsche specialist technician since leaving college and has worked on a vast array of Porsches, from the earliest air cooled 911s, to the latest production model Macans and everything in-between. Ollie keeps things moving in our service centre and looks after the team, ensuring a cheerful and efficient workplace.

    This 2002 Porsche 996 Carrera 4S Tiptronic looks stunning in gleaming Midnight Blue Metallic with 19-inch multispoke alloy wheels (the original Turbo-Twist wheels are available if you’d prefer them).

    The interior is full Metropole Blue with Ruffled Leather seats. Options include Porsche crests on the seat headrests, rear Park Assist, heated seats, fully electric seats with driver’s memory, Bose Sound Pack, Alcantara headlining, leather-trimmed steering wheel centre, leather-trimmed arm rest embossed with ‘Carrera’, aluminium insert in handbrake lever and aluminium Tiptronic selector with Porsche crest. A Pioneer head unit with CarPlay, Bluetooth and DAB is a useful upgrade.

    The Porsche benefits from a well-documented service history, with the last service being in September 2024 at 74,319 miles. In addition to routine maintenance, recent work of note includes new rear suspension arms and a four-wheel alignment in 2025, new front brake discs and pads in 2024, new air-conditioning condensers in 2023, a new DesignTek exhaust system in 2021. An uprated EPS roller IMS bearing and rear main seal (RMS) were installed in 2021. In short, this Porsche has been properly maintained over the years, regardless of cost.
